Some of the church plants we will be visiting!!!

Below you'll find some of the stories behind several of the church plants that we will be serving during our trip.  Saul's english is still a little chopping, but I think he did a great job sharing their vision and humble beginnings.  Let's remember as a team to be in constant prayer regarding our efforts for these church plants.  We want to put them in a position to not only meet some of the physical needs of their communities, but to share the gospel as well.

Thankful for these church plants and their effort to share the gospel,

Cody
ps. SOME OF THESE CHURCH PLANTS ARE ALREADY PLANTING OTHER CHURCHES!!! That's inspiring!

Church Plant Pastors

As you know, a large percentage of our supplies are being distributed to 17 area church plants affiliated with Faith Home.  Here are some of the pastors & their families who will be directly impacted by this contianer!  Our goal is to put these pastors in a position in which they can serve and provide for their communities.  It's always nice to put a face to this effort...

2011 Honduras Container Project

The purpose of this container is to help meet some desperate needs in the country of Honduras.  For years now our church has traveled down to Faith Home in San Pedro Sula to build structures, work on various repairs, do some general maintenance, and of course love on the children there within the orphanage.  This year we are adding to that list by taking on a new approach in our efforts to serve them.

We have purchased a 40 foot shipping crate to fill full of clothing (new & used), school supplies, medical supplies, and various other things.  Our goal is to ship the container to Honduras in April and have it ready for us when we arrive there in July.  We will then distribute the clothes to Faith Home as well as to the 17 church plants affiliated with their ministry!

Let's Get Everyone In On This!

Hi FBCW,

I can’t tell you how incredibly excited I am to see this Honduras Container Project take off!  I hoped and expected that this project would unite all of the families and ministries of the church.   And to this point, I am overwhelmed with the response!

However, I feel God has exceeded these expectations by doing something that I did not expect.  I believe that He is blessing this project in such a way that even outside groups can’t help but get involved.  Without me even making one phone call, the following organizations have pitched in to donate, fold, and pack clothing with us:

MOV Home School Jr. Red Cross Club

MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers)

WHS Key Club

MOMS Club Of Parkersburg

I am blown away and inspired that this group effort has stretched outside the walls of FBCW and into the community.  And, in an effort to not limit God’s will of this project, I have an important question to ask you.

Would your group, organization, business, or club like to be a part of this effort to serve those in desperate need?  If so, please feel free to contact me with questions on how you can get them involved.

What's inside the container? Check this out!

Almost Full!

It's almost FULL!!!  This Easter Sunday April 24th will be your last opportunity to bring in items to ship.  This has been an AMAZING project for our church to be apart of!

Just 4 months ago this container was empty and I was really intimidated.

Now the container is nearly maxed out and ready to ship!
Thank you Jesus!

A few videos from mission trips of the past...

I'm so thankful for the 6 trips that I've been a part of at Faith Home in San Pedro Sula.  I would encourage almost anyone to go down and serve with us.  Here's just a few different videos from mission trips of the past.
