For the first time ever, The Vine Student Ministry will be venturing down to Florida for a week of sunshine, study time, and funtime!
We will be leaving the Tuesday night of June 8th at 9pm and arriving at the retreat center Wednesday morning. Then we will depart from the retreat center Sunday morning June 13th and arrive home that evening.
Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center
We will be staying at the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center right outside of Panama City, Florida. You can check out the facilities for yourself at www.christiancamp.com
It is a beautiful retreat center just across the street from the ocean. It’s in a residential area away from the “strip” and provides a perfect environment for learning about God and having a great time with friends.
Mark your calendars and we will start collecting permission slips NOW.
What you need to bring:
Sleeping bag and pillow, Bible, warm clothes and clothes you can play and get dirty in, pajamas, flashlight, Shower gear, towels, and I recommend wearing flip-flops in the shower at all retreat centers, and anything you might want to use in the talent show. I also recommend bringing some snacks!!!
Things to not bring:
Expensive gear, such as jewelry, IPODS or DVD players (you won’t have time for these anyway), air soft guns, fireworks, alcohol or tobacco products, or anything else that will cause you or anyone else trouble or to be distracted from learning about God.
And Girls, No Bikinis. Tankinis and one peice suits are fine. However, if you only have a Bikini you'll just be asked to wear a shirt over the top of it. Thanks!
